ABOUT AASA

In 1962, the ASHRAE Board of Directors approves the formation of an alliance of ASHRAE Associate Society representatives and ASHRAE representatives, to be known as the ASHRAE Associate Society Alliance, for the purpose of identifying possible cooperative efforts with Associate Societies in areas such as HVAC&R programs, research, education, etc. The Alliance meets annually in conjunction with the ASHRAE Winter Meeting or other venue(s) as is advantageous to both the Associate Societies and ASHRAE.
